Manual Handling
About a third and over of all work related injuries are due to Manual Handling. Back injuries are the major cause of staff absence in the UK and yet most are avoidable. Manual handling training is a legal obligation in any situation where staff are required to do any lifting, lowering, pulling or pushing that carries any level risk. Most work settings employ people who incorporate the use of manual handling.
On completion of this manual handling training course, staff will know how to look after their back properly and to move loads with safety and confidence.
